Mandy enjoys being outdoors and connecting with nature whilst pursuing physical exercise, but Yoga is her true passion.

She teaches fun, strong vinyasa style yoga with an emphasis on listening to one’s body and finding what works for you.

Carla
My love affair with yoga has lasted nearly 2 decades and it has helped me navigate the many twists and turns of life.
This multifaceted practice has so much to offer, a deeper connection with our breath, ourselves, each other and the world around us. These are tools for existence, tools for resilience. I aim to teach breath focused, inquisitive classes, encouraging exploration, to move comfortably and confidently. Moving with awareness.
I love slow and focused classes and my training in Yin and Trauma informed much of what I teach. For me Yoga is a practice of wellness, feeling well, breathing well and being well.

Bev
Bev grew up practicing yoga with her grandmother which was a key factor in making the decision to start teaching herself She has completed her 500 hour advanced training with Catherine Wilkinson and teaches strong and creative vinyasa flow, power vinyasa and hot 26
“I believe Yoga is the practice of discipline. Through this discipline our mind and body find synchronicity, our reality shifts and we are able to discover our true selves What we learn on our mats we take into our daily lives, and I believe makes us better at living positive lives.
I look forward to seeing you on your mat”.

Marisa
I come from a background in Dance, which lead me into the world of Pilates, then Aerial Pilates, Aerial Fitness and the Aerial Arts; and finally into the world of Reformer Pilates.
I run the Aerial Fitness offering at TYC as well as teaching Reformer Pilates
My approach to my classes is one of creativity and innovation, but based on the classic Pilates principles of control, core strength, stability, alignment and awareness based functional movement. Movement can be fun, and has something to offer everyone!

Gabrielle
My love and fascination for yoga began when I was introduced to hatha yoga as a child.
Coming from a dance background it was no surprise that yoga would weave its way consistently throughout my life thereafter.
In my early 20s I found myself exploring the different disciplines of yoga and later on immersing myself deeply into vinyasa, Iyengar, and Ashtanga.
I decided to qualify as a teacher in 2019 to shift my practice onto another platform and share my passion with others.
In my classes, you can expect a slower, more disciplined attention to posture alignment, as we focus on opening and strengthening different parts of the body as well as utilizing elements of chanting to tie the entire experience together.

Kerry
Kerry has been practicing yoga for over 20 years after experiencing her first class in London and becoming totally hooked.
In 2019, Kerry completed her yoga TT at The Wellness Connection and then a 50 HR Yin Yoga TT in 2021. She began teaching shortly thereafter.
You can expect slow, mindful flows with a focus on breath, alignment, and not taking yourself too seriously! Kerry's classes are for everyone, and all levels are welcome.

Abigail
Abigail teaches mindful, intelligently sequenced, and playful vinyasa classes. She aims to create an environment where students of all levels can grow, find joy in their bodies and a deeper connection to self.
Abigail has over 300 hours of training and has been an avid yogi since 2012. The Yoga Collective will always hold a special place in her heart, as she fell in love with teaching while completing a mentorship with Mandy.
Abigail also has a background working at the intersection of behavioural science and public health. She’s endlessly fascinated by the mind-body connection & how our health is intertwined with the world around us.

Savanna
My name is Savanna Goldring, I would call myself an eternally curious student of life, a self-healer, and perhaps also a co-creator of held spaces. It's hard to tie up what has been a lifelong journey of learning, healing and becoming into a few sentences Bio.
But I guess the time I actively answered the call and chose to pursue the teachings of various wisdom philosophies like Yoga, Breath and Meditation was when I started practicing yoga 9 years ago, 7 of which I have been guiding practice as a yoga teacher (1st YTT at The Yoga Life CPT) and facilitating workshop & held space.
Yoga was my way of becoming alive in the body I live in & experience life through. This process of awakening to all of this information in my body, and in my senses has been the portal through which I have been able to unearth and process deep early life trauma. This world inside of myself that opened up to me via yoga sparked the new direction and deep meaning that my life would take on.
I went on to study Tantra Philosophy and Tantric Hatha Yoga in Bali, Indonesia at The Practice, then came home back to Cape Town to begin my studies in Kinesiology. Using the tools acquired from my studies and via my personal inner-work journey (Somatic’s, Breath-work, Guided group work, Meditation, Vocal activation) I have gone on to hold space in the form of workshops, facilitating the co-creation of safe spaces where people can connect to and listen to the sacred wisdom and information of their bodies and hearts as a way to start cultivating a more unconditional connection to themselves and develop personal tools for connection, healing, and growth.

Jess
Born in Belgium and raised in South Africa, I'm a traveler, teacher, and lifelong learner, now based in Cape Town. With a background in psychology and education, I thrive on meaningful connections with people.
Yoga has been part of my life since 2012, leading me on a journey of self-love, self-acceptance, and curiosity. It’s more than just a practice on the mat—it’s a way of living, breathing, and being.
To me, yoga is medicine for the mind, body, and soul. The magic lies in breathing, moving, and exploring life with mindfulness and awareness. Knowledge is learned, but wisdom is when that knowledge is fully embodied.

Sarah
Sarah’s yoga practice began twenty years ago – allowing her to slow her down, deepen her breath and cultivate space and strength in all aspects of her life.
Her love of yoga philosophy, history and special interest in yoga as therapy initially inspired her 300 hours of teacher training, and she continues to study and engage with the practice further.
Time on the mat with Sarah invites you to explore presence and a still mind, blending intentional movement with conscious breath. Classes are strong and steady yet always welcoming and accessible to practitioners of all levels.

Katie
Growing up as a ballet dancer, I’ve always been drawn to movement as a form of expression.
That passion naturally evolved into my love for yoga and Pilates, which I began practicing in high school. Over the years, these practices have become integral to my life — strengthening my body, grounding my mind, and supporting a deeper sense of awareness and self-understanding.
I completed my Mat and Advanced Mat Pilates training, along with my Reformer certification through STOTT Pilates. In yoga, I’ve completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and additional training in Yin, Sculpt, Hot26, and 100 hours of Advanced Creative Sequencing.
My yoga classes focus on creative, fluid transitions that encourage intuitive movement and mindful breathing. I love creating a space where students can soften into presence, connect with themselves, and leave feeling grounded and supported.
My Pilates classes are slow, controlled, and intentional. I place a strong emphasis on safe, functional movement patterns, mindful muscle activation, and building strength in a way that supports longevity, stability, and confidence in the body. My goal is always to help students feel strong, connected, and capable without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
